"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen." - 1 Peter 4:10-11 (NIV)
When I think about and search for words to describe the SHE'S THE DIFFERENCE Atlanta Women's Gathering, I am left speechless. I am left with a struggle. I am left searching for that satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment that comes with clear expression of thoughts.
But I do remain in awe.
Perhaps when the dust settles and the emotions subside, I can properly give voice to the moment. But even then, I probably will only be found in the realization that some things can't be explained.
There are some things that can't be conveyed clearly through even the most effective communication. They are what they are, and must just be.
In there being, is the justice that we truly seek, and the only worthy resolve is that you had to be present to get the full thrust of failing words. Yet there will be a treasure trove to look back on and glean from.
Until then, the memories of an unforgettable experience and unexpected moments, serve me well.
The real sisterhood, connections, and camaraderie built between real women, serve me well.
The moments of laughter and need for Kleenex serve me well.
The first-hand experience of watching God take 2 fish and 5 loaves and feed 5000, in so many ways and on so many levels, serve me well.
The honoring of obedient decisions, faithful hearts, pure motives, and authentic actions, serve me well.
The time logged, the battles fought, the rough terrain traversed, the long days and short nights, all for one moment planted to produce many moments to accommodate a high vision, serve me well.
It is not lost on me that every single woman who attended, prayed, believed, gave, kept their word, and served in some capacity, is an absolute gift, and my being so close to such passionate desire and dedication is an even greater gift.
Even more, it is not lost on me that I couldn't have done this without Janelle Watkins and Vera Okoro. It is one thing to be a woman who refers to herself as a believer, it's another to be a woman who is belief, and I am blessed to have had a front row seat to that kind of light in them.
With everything in me, thank you all so much.

Founder, teacher, and visionary, Talia began her public ministry in 2015 through the online women's ministry that was Faithing Your Blueprint. Faithing Your Blueprint was designed to come alongside women and encourage them into their identity in Christ. But for more than 20 years, Talia has dedicated her time to being a beacon of light and hope, after overcoming her own insurmountable challenges. It is from this space, she has lifted up other women throughout the years through speaking, teaching, conferences, service to the Church, academics, and bible study. Talia believes that ALL women can overcome their challenges if they would awaken to God's word being an active, daily lamp for their feet and a light for their path, leading them to the Cross of Christ, and out of the grips of whatever is holding them back and weighing them down. For this reason, SHE'S THE DIFFERENCE emerges. A space where women can mature in Christ, and come into the realization that life with Christ offers a clear distinction from life elsewhere, and in this life, practically, women can find faith, freedom, and fruitfulness, and dare to no longer function, but flourish perpetually in God.
As the founder of Women Authentic, Inc, a women's bible study group and outreach
program, Janelle has the privilege of teaching and facilitating group sessions where
women connect, engage and become impacted by the Word of God. In each session,
Janelle ministers and presents relevant topics for women to discuss, and share their life's
experiences all while fostering sisterhood.
As a minister and Certified Life Coach of her mentoring program, Janelle is passionate
about working with women to discover their God-designed destinies, identities in Christ,
overcome fears, and become confident women. She provides coaching, mentorship and
accountability for women in order to help them with accomplishing their goals in life.

equipping and empowering couples to overcome life's challenges. Janelle lives in Fairburn,
GA and enjoys reading, teaching people the principles of the Word of God, writing, and

Vera Okoro is a skilled worship leader, singer, songwriter and vocal coach. For over 20 years, she has been using her personal experience, skills and training to coach and mentor choirs, worship groups, singers and vocalists of all levels, ages and genders; teaching them how to use the full range and capacity of their voice to sing and minister in excellence.
Vera is also a teacher and mentor at heart; gifted to ignite the God-given abilities on the inside of others, causing them to soar to new levels both spiritually and naturally. Through the Word of God and worship, her mission is to inspire believers to walk with Jesus every day in a living, loving relationship.
